Missguided Try On Haul

Hiya Everybody!

So, recently I've splurged a little bit on clothes and one of the brands I had shopped at was Missguided. I have made a wishlist featuring my favourite pieces not long ago which you can find here. I will link all items down below under each outfit.

As I'm going away to Rhodes next month, I got lots of outfits which are suitable for both daytime and nighttime wear which won't make me too hot in the sunny country.

Firstly, there's this gorgeous co-ord floral piece which only cost me £7 for the set in the sale! I absolutely love it and I think it'll look gorgeous on any skin tone.

Here's another co-ord which is a bright orange colour. I didn't think it'll look that nice on me because of the colour, but I think it looks really nice and will be perfect for the summer holidays! Top - £5, Skirt - £5.

Right, I think there's a theme going on here as I had picked another co-ord haha! This piece comes in different colours but this one really caught my eye as I haven't got that many sparkly gold clothes. I especially love the top, I think it's very flattering and would look great with a pair of black skinny jeans in the evening for a night out on the strip. Top - £5, Skirt - £5.

Next up I bought two of the same skirt but in different colours. I chose the burgundy and the black as I think these colours are really versatile and can be easily paired up with different tops. They were quite hard to squeeze into but once they were on they felt comfy. I would recommend going for one size up though, just because the material isn't stretchy at all. Black Skirt - £5 and Burgundy - £5.

And the star of the post - this gorgeous crochet dress. I have been after one of these for a while and was willing to buy the one from my wishlist (here) but why spend £40 when I can spend £10 and get something even more beautiful for less? It fits perfectly and I really love it.

I hope you enjoyed this post as it's something different from what I usually do!

What are your statement pieces this summer? Are you going away anywhere nice this year?

Lots of love,

TB to Birmingham Clothes Show Live 2014

Morning my beauties!

I am so excited and happy to announce that I went to the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham for the second time! I loved it so much last year that I knew I wanted to come back this year - especially with all the amazing bargains you can find while you're there! I have unfortunatelly broke my laptop and it's been sent off to get fixed (my poor baby) so I won't include too many pictures in this post, but I want you guys to see how great it was!
This year I have been given a chance to meet and greet some of the models and designers so I'm super excited to share all this with you guys! Just be patient and wait until I write another post about this year's show.

Me and Amarah were both hat crazy last year! My hat is from Primark £6 and she bought hers at the show for only £5!
Hat - £6, Coat - £23, Scarf - £6, Boots - £18, PVC Skirt - £5 all from Primark.
I look like such a tourist! I loved my first time in Birmingham - especially the Bullring shopping centre!
Felt like right VIP's sat in a double decker party bus at the show!

Did you go to any clothes sho this year? If so, did you enjoy them?

Lots of love,
Maya xo

Mallzee - First Impression

Hey guys!
So recently, I found out about this amazing new app called Mallzee. It is literally like tinder for fashion, if you like an item, you give it thumbs up, if not then thumbs down, easy peasy!
the app can be found on iTunes here.

As you can see, it shows you the clothing item on a model and which brand it's from. This bodycon jersey dress is from boohoo.com and is only £15. You can then vote whether you like it or not, and also share it or even buy it! It is literally the most perfect app for all bloggers and fashion freaks like me!

This picture shows a variety of men's clothing which is New In. As you can see, it looks exactly the same as shopping online, however it has an enormous amount of brands to choose from. It varies with items for men and women, size and shape, price and occasion etc. You can find literally everything/anything with this amazing app.

Another great feature is being able to create a folder with an occasion and save your most liked items into each category. The style feed is very useful if you lead a busy lifestyle and want to quickly update your wardrobe for Winter nights out, and also days in.

Overall, I am very impressed with this app, and will definitely use it a lot! I'm so glad somebody has come up with this great tinder-like app for fashion gurus like me!

You can get the app yourself here. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do!

Lots of love,
Maya xo

Recent Purchases

Hello everyone!
OMG it's April!!! Time has flown by so fast. Next thing we know we'll be all sitting down in exam halls trying our best to remember the answers to the questions! I don't know about you guys, but I've been so stressed recently due to coursework deadlines and exam revision.
I have recently been out shopping again. I needed new shoes and some everyday essentials, such as underwear. I went round a few shops but picked out the most things from Primark.
I got a pug cushion to add to my collection. My little bed is covered in cushions and teddies Kieran bought for me. This cushion was only £4 and is very soft!
The two pairs of knee high socks were just something I picked up because of the sale! They were 50 pence each from what I can remember and are very thick and fluffy so I will either wear them as welly socks or to bed on cold nights!
I always pick up at least one pair of frilly socks! This time I chose pastel pink to match the new bra!
The Peter Pan socks are also a match to my Peter Pan t-shirt! I feel so coordinated picking out matching outfits!
The daisy shade were needed. Especially at the price of £2!! Bargaaaain!!
And like I mentioned in my previous 'recent purchases' post, I always buy DVD's when I'm out shopping! This time I picked up a copy of Troy and the Gladiator. I love a bit of history, I do!!!
Dun dun duuuun! And here is a picture of the star of the post! Beautiful, pink Nike blazers!!! I've wanted to get some for a long time now but never had enough money. I saw these and instantly fell in love! There is nothing better than pink trainers that go with anything!!!
Lots of love,
Maya xo
