REVIEW || MAC MINERALIZE CHARGED WATER SKIN HYDRATING MIST - THE BEST FACE PRIMER/SETTING SPRAY FOR DRY SKIN

Have you been wondering which setting/priming spray to buy? I've tried out quite a few different ones so I guess I can be a bit of help to y'all.

The first priming water I've used was the MAC Prep&Prime Fix+ after hearing all the hype about it all over the internet. I didn't really know how to use it and the staff member who served me at my local MAC shop wasn't very nice and she seemed like she didn't care about my skincare needs so I wasn't too happy about it. Anyhow, this doesn't affect my opinion of the product - I'm just stating that I wasn't told how to use the product to begin with haha.
After moisturising my skin, I sprayed the product onto my skin as a primer and waited for it to dry before applying foundation. I also used it to dampen my beauty blender and felt like it helped keep my makeup stay put, and other times I sprayed it on top of my makeup if I felt like my skin needed some hydration. Therefore, I think that the original Fix+ is great for everyone as you get a lot of use out of it and can use it in many different ways.

But, this time I wanted to go for something more moisturising as my skin is getting more mature (I' only in my 20s but it's best to start taking care of skin ASAP in my opinion), so I went for the Mineralize Charged Water Skin Hydrating Mist which has little droplets of oil inside - it's gold okay, it's beautiful! I was a bit sceptical about getting it as I didn't want it to make my face look oily as I usually go for a fresh but matte look. The first thing I noticed was that the scent was a lot different to the original. It smells very citrusy to me which I absolutely love in facial mists - I hate the smell of Urban Decay's All Nighter Spray but I love the job it does haha!!! It is always a plus when a setting spray has a scent that you enjoy, however some people find it irritating when makeup products have scents. The packaging is the same other than the box it comes in - all mineralize products come in white packaging. I do like the lid on this product as all you have to do is twist it, but I remember it breaking on my old spray so I hope it doesn't happen this time!

Overall, I must say that this priming water is very good for those who have dry skin but only if you use it before applying makeup as I found it moved around my mascara a bit as it made it a bit wet which made it transfer onto my skin. I will continue to use it as a primer rather than a setting spray as I feel it works better for me this way :)

Have you tried any of the MAC Prep&Prime Fix+? Have you got any setting spray recommendations?

CHEAP AND EFFECTIVE LASER HAIR REMOVAL - PULSE LIGHT CLINIC LONDON

Who wouldn't want to have hair-free armpits, legs, face?! Please peach fuzz, just sod off already! I've been battling with hair since I was 11, come on now I've had enough...

I recently came across the Pulse Light Clinic that's based in London which was founded in the year 2000 as the first clinic specialising in rosacea treatment by Mary Maclean. She then went on to discover that Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) had better outcomes when nutritional therapy was used simultaneously with the IPL treatment. Mary also developed a precise technique for the treatment of rosacea which evolved as IPL technology become more effective. Rosacea is something that's quite close to me personally as myself and my mum suffer from it and it can only be hidden by layers of makeup. Mine has definitely calmed down and I only get bad redness if I touch my face (so practically half the time lol).

Anyway, I'm here to talk about annoying hairs, not my skin condition haha. Like I said earlier, I have hair everywhere - I'm so hairy I bet I can take over and become the new King Kong. Honestly, though I feel like hair is a taboo subject as many people get funny about growing it or even shaving it - everybody has a preference and I am not saying that everyone should be hair-free, but if you're unhappy with some hair (for example, like myself with my peach fuzz on my face or having to shave my armpits every other day), then this is something that you might be interested in.

Pulse Light Clinic offers many treatments varying in price from as little as £32 per session. I know for a fact that if I was based in London I would definitely try it out as it's really cheap compared to some of the clinic's I looked into before, and I know that I would be happy with the results after reading customer reviews.

Another great thing about Pulse Light Clinic is that they offer treatments to both men and women. This means that if you have some annoying nose hair or ear hair that you want to get rid of, you can do so very easily and shamelessly as many people have done so before you. Let's end the stigma around men taking care of themselves!!!

Like I mentioned above, the treatments are for as little as £32 but the best thing about it is that if you decide to go ahead with the treatments, you can pay for them monthly over the course of 12 months with 0% interest. Yup, that's right ladies and gentlemen - 0% interest!! So we can all enjoy getting rid of hair with a little bit of help from the clinic! Go on then, the consultation is free of charge so if there is some hair that bothers you I say let's get rid of it and be happy!

Watch the Pulse Light Clinic's video here to help you understand more about the brand.

Would you ever consider taking laser hair removal treatments? What about enhancements?

*This is a sponsored post, however, it is always 100% my own opinion.

REVIEW || WIKANIKO'S MORINGA OIL "THE BEST NATURAL AGE DEFYING OIL IN THE WORLD" - OVERNIGHT MIRACLE

My skin has been really dry the past few weeks and I don't know what products to use to get rid of the dryness :( It seems like my trusty Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion just wasn't working and it usually does, so when I came across Wikaniko and got kindly sent a bottle of their Moringa Oil to try out, I was very happy!

With the oil, I also received a detailed note of how the oil works and what it's good for - now there's a company that's passionate about their customers and company! The note also includes different types of how Moringa can be consumed (such as powder to add to meals). I learnt that it is important on where you buy Moringa from, as some countries that grow it can also pollute the plants with lots of nasties - some people have actually stated that they bought products containing dead insects and cigarette ends!!! Wikaniko produces their own Moringa on their farm in Spain, so they practise what they preach and take special care of the plants.

The different types of Moringa products include powder (perfect as a superfood added to smoothies), this cannot be heated over 47C as it will lose its beneficial vitamins and minerals, it also comes in a form of capsules for those who do not like the taste, and last but not least it comes as an oil which is labelled the "best natural age-defying oil in the world". It is now being used in cosmetics due to its anti-ageing properties - if you don't want to use the oil directly to your skin you can mix a few drops with your moisturiser. It's supposed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne, fine lines etc - erm hello?!?! Take all my money haha!!!

Since I started using this product I've noticed a massive change in my skin; it feels much smoother and plump than usually. I still have dry patches under my eyes but this could be due to exfoliation, but it is very soothing so I like to wear it before going to bed as I let it soak in overnight and wake up with beautiful and glowing skin.

I would definitely recommend this product to all who suffer from any skin imperfections, especially those with ageing skin - I know for a fact that my mum would be very interested in this product! Mother's Day gift perhaps? Either way, I've only been using this product for a week and I have noticed a huge difference to my skin in how it looks and feels. A definite 10/10 ladies and gents!

Good news everyone!! - I have a 10% off code for you: MOR10 - use it to save some pennies! :)

Have you got a holy grail skincare product? Would you try this Moringa oil?

*This post contains PR samples, however, it is 100% my own opinion.

2016 || JULY FAVOURITES

This July I loved a few products, mainly skincare but there's also a makeup item.

First of all, let's talk about the Victoria Secret body sprays. I absolutely love their whole range and trying to pick out a few from the whole collection was quite a tough task. I've especially been loving Sheer Love as I feel like it's the perfect summer fragrance and feels so light on, unlike perfume which I find a bit too heavy to wear during hot summer days.

Next up we've got the Argan Oil heat defence leave in spray. I don't even remember how many times I've repurchased or spoke about this product, but I got back into using it as it works wonders, especially in humid weather where my hair tends to get frizzy.

And what's summer without dry skin? I feel like my hands get really dry in summer which is odd as most people tend to get dry skin in winter. This Soap and Glory Endless Glove hand cream has literally been my life saver this summer. I love the scent of it - it's very fruity, just what summer is all about.

Last but not least, the Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation. The coverage is great, the scent is great and the whole idea is just great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the colour range is very poor and I'm forced to mix this foundation with another in order to get a shade that suits me most.

What did you love this July? Have you tried any of the items I've mentioned?

Lots of love,

Review || Nivea Men Post Shave Balm

Morning My Lovelies!

Who hasn't heard of the wonders that Nivea's Men Post Shave Balm does to your skin? I've certainly heard all sorts of positive comments so I decided to try it out myself. I must say that I was really excited to try it, not only for the way it works but also the smell because it reminds me of Kieran haha!

The packaging is quite nice, to be honest, it looks like an aftershave bottle and it's glass, and all this time I thought it'll be in a plastic bottle! So, as you can imagine it's quite heavy so not the best item for travelling, sorry but I had to leave it behind in England this time.

The smell is amazing if you like musky men-like scents. If that makes sense? If I pour out too much then I always end up rubbing it all over my arms and end up smelling them throughout the day.

The consistency, on the other hand, is not what I expected at all. It is very runny and feels quite slimy but once you've put it on it feels like you've splashed yourself with water. I find it very refreshing for my skin and usually use it as a moisturiser rather than a primer.

As a primer, I think this product is good if you don't wear luminous makeup and want a satin/matte finish to your foundation as I've noticed it makes makeup stay on longer if you use such foundations. Personally, I love this product, I think it's definitely worth trying as it's really inexpensive and it feels great on the skin! And if you don't get along with it then you can always pass it on to another member of the family!

Have you tried this product at all? What did you think of it?

Lots of love,
Maya xo
