Review || Red Cherry Lashes in WSP, 217 and 523

Happy Sunday Everybody!

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend and are excited to get back to school/uni/work tomorrow ;). I have recently purchased three different designs of Cherry Lashes on eBay, and I know what you're all thinking already "got it off eBay - must have been fake" and guess what? You might be right!

I got these for only 99p each which was a ridiculous price to begin with but I decided to go for it anyway. I do not know if these are authentic or not, but I am not impressed with the quality of them at all therefore it makes me believe that these are in fact fake.

The styles seemed perfect for me as I love big lashes. I've heard so many good things about the brand that I couldn't resist and bought a few different styles that appealed to me the most.

The WSP style were my favourite from the whole lot. I was so excited to try these out but I really disappointed myself. They were really difficult to get out the box and did not want to stay on when I applied them. So stubborn! They felt really heavy and flew off my eyes after a couple of hours which was unacceptable as I used the same glue as always.

I did not like these ones much either. They feel even more fake than the wispy ones.

This style appeared the fakes the of all. As it says on the packaging, these are meant to be 100% human hair but you can see the synthetic fibres from a mile away. Just look how tough they look - they were painful to apply as they felt really stiff.

Overall, I know for a fact that next time I will buy fake lashes off a legitimate website, rather than risking it with eBay again. However I will continue to search for the perfect and weightless lashes as I am yet to find them.

Have you tried any of the RedCherry products? If so, which ones do you recommend? Do you know of any good LEGIT websites to buy these from?

Review || Vaseline Intensive Care

Good Evening Everyone!

Look what I got in store for you today - the whole Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturiser collection!
I actually found them all in Poundworld! It would have been a crime if I didn't buy them! These usually retail at £2.99 and you can find them in many shops, including Wilkinsons and Boots etc.

Vaseline has always been one of my favourite brands, especially when it comes to their amazing petroleum jelly pots. I don't moisturise my skin enough so thought I'd buy these to motivate myself to use them up! What's the point of buying the whole collection if I won't use them, right?

This is definitely my favourite for this kind of weather. It is cooling and smells amazing, not to mention that it has aloe Vera in it which makes it perfect for those who tend to burn easily in the sun aka me!

I feel like this one will be perfect for winter as its fragrance free and very moisturising. My skin always feels dryer during the cold days and this one in particular has been proved to heal very dry skin in just FIVE days. Amazing!

Use this is a hand cream which I did not realise, I keep it on the desk so whenever I feel like my hands need a quick moisture fix I pop it on. I'm pretty sure Vaseline do a travel size of this hand cream which is perfect to shove in your bag.

This one stole my heart. It smells divine. It leaves my skin feeling really nourished and healthy. I usually put this on a day after applying my fake tan to make it last longer and looking glowy.

I would have to raise these moisturisers a strong 9/10. I am still waiting to meet the one <3 haha! If you have any suggestions for THE perfect moisture, then please list some down below in the comments section!

What Vaseline products do you like the most? Have you tried any of the ones mentioned above?

2016 || March Favourites

Hi Everyone!

I know, it's sooo late to do a March Favourites post but it's better to post late than never! I've been loving drugstore products lately and thought I'd share the most used ones with you today.

l-r : Makeup Revolution Contour Palette (£3.50), Sleek Highlightinh Palette (£9.99), Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (£4.99), Maybelline Colour Tattoo (£4.99 each), Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (£5.49) and Extreme Felt Tip Liner (£2.50).

You can read a full review of the Sleek Palette here, and the Maybelline Mascara here.

I have especially been loving Makeup Revolution as a brand for the past few weeks. They are so affordable and the new items they keep coming up with are to die for! For instance, this contour palette only cost me £3.50 from superdrug and it comes with a matte bronzer (very similar to Benefit's Hoola), a soft highlighter and a peachy blush. 3 in 1! It's quite small as well which makes it perfect size for your makeup bag to keep it with you on the go.

The two Maybelline Colour Tattoo cream Eyeshadows will take over my life - I swear! I adore MaC's Paint Pots, but these are the next best thing and for such a low price compared to MAC's pricey £16 per pot you can't go wrong. I am looking forward to expanding my collection as they are so easy to blend and wear that I need more colours!

I'm not the biggest concealer user, however this one has taken my breath away with its coverage and luminosity in one! I love to use it under my eyes to brighten up my face, however the only issue I have with this concealer is that I use the lightest shade and it's still not as light as I'd like it to be :(

I picked up Collection's Extreme Liner as I wanted to try out a new felt tip liner because I'm getting bored of my MAC Blacktrack gel liner. This one is really dark and long lasting, however I've noticed that it smudges easily. If I find one that's waterproof I'd definitely buy it, but for not this one does the job just fine as long as I don't touch my eyes or let them water!

What have you loved last month? Have you tried any of the products I mentioned above? If so, how did you get on with them?

Review || Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Blackest Black

Good Morning Everyone!

I know I might be a bit late but I've recently bought the highly rated Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and I am amazed by it! I'm not easily pleased when it comes to mascaras as my eyelashes are really fair and it's hard to get full coverage without making my lashes look clumpy. I have recently been loving Benefits They're Real mascara and as I'm running out of it I thought I'll purchase a few drugstore mascaras to try out.

I don't really like the packaging. It's different to most of Maybelline's mascaras as the shape of the bottle - I guess it's a bottle? Is much different to their usual spike shaped ones. I was a massive fan of the Collossal mascara and heard a lot of positive reviews of the Great Lash mascara.

I do quite like the colour of the packaging - it's different and the colours seem perfect for this time of year. It is quite small, therefore perfect size to pop in your makeup bag or take with you on holiday.

I chose the shade 'blackest black' as like I've said before, I like my lashes super dark as they're naturally fair and when I get them tinted it doesn't last long.

I really like the brush as it's not too thin and not too big and gives perfect coverage on all types of lashes. I personally prefer to use it on my top lashes rather than my bottom ones as I find it that it leaves product on my waterline and is a bit untidy but that's my personal opinion and pet peeve when it comes to mascaras!

The bristles are spread quite far apart  which you'd expect to clump your lashes, however it actually somehow spreads them apart and makes them look thicker. All I can really say is that for the ridiculously low price of £4.99 everyone should own this mascara at some point in their life as it really is amazing. A storing 9/10, well done Maybelline! You've done it again!!

Have you tried this mascara before? What's your favourite Maybelline product?

Lots of love,
Maya xo
