THE TRUTH BEHIND MAC'S LIMITED EDITION PRODUCTS

I've always been a sucker for pretty packaging, and when it comes to MAC and their limited edition items I always go all out. The Vibe Tribe collection was a bit hit ever since the first photographs were released back in the summer, and I knew for a fact I'd end up buying a few items from the collection.

First of all, I do not believe that the term 'Tribe' should have been used for this collection as it's disrespectful towards those who actually were/are a part of one. Anyhow, I chose three items from the collection - Blush in Modern Mandarin, Cream Colour Base in Yellow Topaz, and Lipstick in Hot Chocolate'.

I must say, I was very excited about this collection as the packaging is beautiful, but to my disappointment I hated it once it came. When I think of MAC I think 'good quality' 'long-lasting' and 'sturdy packaging', however this one was so bloody light and tacky it really pissed me off. I paid a lot of money for those products and I expected them to be in amazing quality packaging, but it just feels like really cheap and light plastic that won't keep the products from breaking.

The products themselves, on the other hand, are really good. The pigment is as good as always, and I really love the purpley-nude shade of the lipstick. So, as you can see, the real problem isn't the products because they are still amazing quality and worth the money, but the packaging itself is basically - shit. I honestly do not think that it's worth refreshing the page every second on the first release, and spending loads of money on something that 'looks pretty' but won't be used. What's the point?

If you really want something from a limited collection and couldn't get your hands on it, I would suggests looking for dupes from other brands - there will always be one :)

What are your opinions of limited edition products by MAC? Have you entered my giveaway yet?

REVIEW || REGIME LONDON DELUXE COLLAGEN SUPPLEMENTS

Who doesn't want perfect and plump skin? Being in my 20's for quite some time now has taught me that looking after my skin is the most important thing as it will be very important in the future. I suffered from acne for around 7-8 years and due to taking all sorts of medications to stop it, my skin has suffered a lot. I have scars and dimples all over my face, she loose skin and wrinkles. It makes me very self-conscious about my looks, therefore I tend to wear makeup every single day.

When I recently came across Regime London I was sceptical about it at first as I didn't believe that supplements could ever work this way without any surgeries, however, I must say I was very surprised to see amazing changed to my skin.

About Regime London: "Regime London is a premium range of nutricosmetics designed to provide a deeper level of beauty care and support, helping to bring the 'inner you' to the surface. Whereas outer cosmetics can be used to target certain areas and enhance specific features, the Regime Nutricosmetics range can provide a genuine and longer-lasting impact by focusing on the interior building blocks responsible for the outward health and appearance of the entire body"

My skin felt so much tighter and more nourished than ever, and that's only two weeks into taking the supplements. The tablets aren't too big and because they're coated, they're easier to swallow as you can't taste them. However, as most supplements take months to start working, these results could have been due to my skincare. I would like to have been able to test this product out for a longer period of time to see if I could get the best results possible, but maybe another time!

Regime London have sent me this product to review, but like always this is 100% my own opinion. This product is fantastic and has worked wonders on my skin.

2016 || OCTOBER FAVOURITES

October is the month of Halloween, so everything I've been loving last month was super vampy.
First up, I've been a huge fan of Mac lipliners for ages now and keep constantly buying new shades to add to my collection. My recent addition was the shade 'Plum' which is beyond beautiful. It's perfect for the Autumn/Winter time as a dark and bold lip is everything at this time of the year!

Next up, is the Makeup Revolution Light & Shade eyeshadow palette, which is a dupe for the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette. The pigmentation is amazing, the shadows are creamy and easy to blend, however the only issue I have with this is the fallout!

Rimmel lipsticks were a massive craze for me when I was younger, and when I purchased one of their darker shades I remembered just how good they are! I feel like I have to get the full collection now, but I need to calm down with all the spending, especially with Christmas coming up! I bought the shade 'Starry Eyed' and it's a perfect Autumn shade, paired up with a gold eyeshadow and ta-dah! You've got the perfect look for this time of year.

Who doesn't love a bit of new stationary, especially when it's from Tiger! I love these thin felt pens, they're so easy to work with and don't smudge - which is vital for bloggers (we tend to be fast writers). I mainly use these for writing up blog post ideas, making lists and notes for revision.

What did you love in October? Have you tried any of the products I mentioned above?

2016 || SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

Ever since I tried out Primark's makeup range, I've been obsessing over these ideas and have bought a whole face of makeup from brands such as Natural Collection, Poundland etc. Today, I wanted to share with you guys my September favourites featuring only makeup from Poundland.

Liquid Lipsticks have taken over the world just like drawn-on eyebrows, they're a must for most. So when I found out that Poundland has released a new range of products, including liquid lipsticks, I had to rush over and pick out every shade!

The nude shade is absolutely perfect as an every-day kind of colour. I feel like it goes with all skin tones, and because it's a cool-tone it suits me more than any other nude liquid lipstick! YAY.

The pink shade is gorgeous for the night time. I feel like it would look amazing with a grey-black smokey eye or a feline liner flick and extreme wispy lashes! The scent is great, it smells like vanilla cupcakes and applies really easily. If I had to compare them to another product, it would have to be the NYX soft matte lip creams.

On the other hand, the contour duo's are also amazing for the price. I feel like both of the bronzer shades are great and would suit up to medium-dark skin tones. The highlighter shade is very pretty, however it's in a cream format so it's quite hard to work with. Same thing goes for the blush shade, however I feel like it's more bendable, especially on darker skin.

I've been using the liquid lipsticks practically every day throughout September and would highly recommend them. I would also say that the contour kits are worth buying, if you're on a budget or are feeling like trying out a new beauty product.

Have you tried any of Poundland's makeup? What about their liquid lipsticks?

Lots of love,
