Review || Clipper Fruit Infusions Teas

Hey lovelies!
I am a massive tea freak, and when I found those two boxes of Clipper's tea on offer at Tesco for 37p each I picked up a few boxes! The flavours I chose were Cranberry&Raspberry Organic Infusions and Apple&Elderflower Organic Infusions. The packaging itself is magical, it is very funky and colourful which suits the brand itself as they like to mix up different flavours together even if it's something you wouldn't usually go for - they always get it just right.
 This is what the teabag looked like when I took it out the box. This is the Cranberry&Raspberry flavoured one and as you can see it has little fruits drawn on the wrapper. All teabags are individually wrapped as to keep in the scent and flavour locked inside rather than it evaporating into thin air. It is also helpful if you want to take it to work with you rather than having to bring the whole box and making sure your colleagues don't try and steal it!
 So this is what the teabag looks like out the wrapper. You can see the tea granules/leafs and also the small pieces of fruit. It smelled immense as soon as I opened the wrapper.
The hot water turned a dark red colour as soon as I dipped the teabag in. The smell was overwhelming it was so fruity. This tea tasted lovely and has become one of my favourites by the brand.

 This is the packaging of the Apple&Elderflower tea and it looks just as cute as the other one. You can see the cute apples and elderflowers on the wrapper so you can always distinguish which flavour of tea it is if you mix the different ones in a tin.
 This tea smelled like Spring - it was full of florals and Granny Apples. It was just too good to be true, and I was right...
It might look delicious but wasn't what I hoped for at all. It tasted a bit nutty and had a hint of cinnamon which I don't like in teas. Maybe it would have tasted better cold or with some fresh mint. Either way I will try and mix the two teas together and see what it would taste like then!

2015 || June Favourites

Hello Beauty Lovers!
Last month I've been loving everything to do with hair dye! I had three different colours in June - from blonde to grey and then to pink. You can read about my journey with grey hair here. All the products in this post have been bought at Poundworld - yes you are reading this right!!
Firstly, the eylure eyelashes are one of my favourite pairs I have ever bought, and believe me when I say that I've used a lot of pairs in my life! I can't believe they were at my local poundworld!! I will definitely buy more pairs next time I see them. They look great on and feel like feathers as they are very light weight.

The Jerome Russell lighting spray has actually worked well since the first use. I can see a change in my hair colour and it looks as if I had recently put in some highlights. I would highly recommend this product if you have light hair and are after a balayage effect.

It was the first time I have come across the Kinky Curly Straight brand and I must say that I am beyond impressed with the quality of the conditioner and the ingredients are mostly natural unlike other brands. It has a variety of oils which are good for your hair and full of nutrients. I will definitely buy the whole collection next time.

The Mellors&Russell simply bright hair dye in pink is actually quite effective. I wouldn't say it was amazing and the colour didn't come out as I was expecting, this however could be due to my hair not being light enough, but it's a good product for the price and is worth buying if you already have very light or bleached hair ready for some colour.

On the other hand, their simply bright non permanent colouring conditioner has worked a bit better on my hair leaving it with a nice pinky-peach colour. I have although kept it on for only 5 minutes rather than the recommended 15, so I guess the longer you keep the dye on the better the result.

Have you tried any of those products? If yes then please mention which ones in comments below!

Kiko Cosmetics

Morning beauties!

I have finally caught up with the monthly favourites posts! Success! So I though that I will share my new found love for the make-up brand Kiko. They have opened up a new store recently in Nottingham and I've only been there twice, however I couldn't resist picking up a few bits and bobs.

I have picked up 4 eye shadows in colours l-r 140, 129, 133 and 132, a mascara top coat for fuller looking lashes and a lip liner in shade 710 which is a perfect match for my Up The Amp lipstick by MAC.
The shadows are amazing and work wonders on my eyes if used with a primer (I use the primer potion from Urban Decay). They are very pigmented and easy to blend. I recommend them to all my readers! Watch out for future FOTD posts as I will be using Kiko's products!

2015 || May Favourites

Hey guys!
After hoarding so many MAC products I decided to get rid of my empties and go BackToMAC with them. I decided to go for Velvet Teddy as at the time I had grey hair and wanted a new nude which would go with any hair colour, especially grey. The lipsticks cost £15.50 and obviously I got mine for a free, so you better start saving your empty MAC products and exchange 6 of them for a free lippy!

I came across this frozen cocktail when I was shopping with my mum at Tesco. It was on offer for £1.50 and they had a variety of cocktails to choose from - I opted for the classic Pina Colada for the lovely weather we had! I must say that it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while and it was so cheap! I will definitely buy more of these next time I make my way to my local Tesco as they do have quite a lot of alcohol in them too! ;)

2015 || April Favourites

Hey dolls!
I know it's very late for an April favourites post, but it's better late than never, ay? So this April I've been loving everything summer-like and I cannot wait until my holidays this year! Being so busy revising for my A-levels I've not had much time to spend on shopping which means I also saved up some $$$ but I had to buy something, right?!

First up is the ever so cute Anna&Elsa sippy cup! I got this from Primark fro only £2.50!! I've not put it down since I bought it! I try to drink detox water daily to get rid of all the bad toxins out my system. I usually use filtered water, two ice cubes, two slices of lemon, three slices of cucumber, a handful of fresh mint and sometimes a strawberry to add more flavour. However my favourite has to be just lemon, mint and ice as it's very refreshing.

I've also been loving green tea by Tetley. They offer so many flavours I can't wait to try them all! I especially enjoyed the peach and cherry blossom green tea. Green tea does so many good things to your body - it improves and speeds up your metabolism, gets rid of toxins, gives you energy from natural sources and has a small amount of caffeine to get you through those nasty mondays!

Last but not least, I've been loving Body Shop's fragrance. I have two different scents, one I was gifted for my birthday which is musk scented and isn't my favourite scent to be honest with you as I do not particularly like lavender and such, whereas the other which is my favourite at the moment is called Love, etc...

Stay tuned for more monthly favourites, as I am three months behind!!

Lots of love,
Maya xo
