Recent Purchases

Good Evening Beauties!
This week I splurged on some high end make-up products, but I don't regret a thing! I know I have been slacking in the blog world lately, yet again, but I will try and keep it up and post more often. I lead a busy lifestyle at the moment and barely have any time for myself, therefore not a lot of time for you guys. I will create a new timetable and make sure that I post at least 3 times a week.
So, going back to my recent purchases, I bought the following:
MAC eye shadow in Purple Showers. I had to buy it on eBay as MAC doesn't sell it any more, and the colour is gorgeous. I will definitely post a make-up tutorial soon using this product.
Here is a photo of the eye shadow swatched on the back of my hand. It is very pigmented and shiny, just how I like my eye shadows!
I also got a MAC Kohl eye liner in Smolder. I needed a new Kohl pencil for a while now, and nothing can go wrong with black. It is easy to smudge for a smoky-eye effect.
Here it's swatched on my hand, it is very dark and easy to apply. Goes on smoothly on the eye too.
My very first Bare Escentuals product by Bare Minerals. This shade is called Harp and is a brown nude colour. It looks lovely on the lips and goes with any type of outfit or make-up.
Here's a photo of the lip gloss swatched on my hand. It looks a bit orange, but it's more brown/nude. It looks lovely on.
Keep in touch guys!
Lots of love,

Recent Purchases - featuring Bodyshop's new InstaBlur Primer!!!

Hey guys,
I recently ran out of all my high end face products and was in great need to stock up on new ones ASAP. But, instead of my usual routine which includes the Benefit POREfessional primer, MAC Studio Fix foundation and Benefit Hello Flawless powder I decided to go for something a bit less expensive but equally as good.
I have always wanted to try the Body Shop's (HERE) makeup range and I finally got to buy some products. The staff were very friendly, and helpful with registering for the Body Shop membership card and helping me choose the right shades of foundation and powder. Shoutout to the two fabulous ladies that served me today!
I bought the new InstaBlur primer, Extra Virgin Minerals foundation (medium to full coverage) and the Face Perfecter powder.
The most amazing thing happened to me today. This fantastic primer does not come out until tomorrow BUT I got on with the staff so well that they let me purchase this product today instead!! I will do a full review of this primer very soon!
Sorry about this picture, I always tend to forget to rotate at least one if not a few of them. This foundation felt very smooth and creamy but was very easy to blend. I chose the shade 102 as my skin tone is very fair and has warm tones.
Cute little mirror-like packaging. I've heard very good things about this powder from my friends, so decided to get one myself! I chose the shade 03 as it's not too light but not too dark and makes my skin glow. It also blocks out any shininess of the skin, so looks great on even if you're not wearing foundation!
This is what it looks like when you open it. You get a sponge applicator with this powder so you can just pop it in your handbag for a day out without having to bring a powder brush or worse, a whole make-up bag with you.
Underneath the first flap, you get a compact mirror and the pressed powder. It has protective foil over it, hence why it looks a bit odd in the picture.
I also found this heat protection spray in Boots reduced to £2, so thought I'd get it to review it and see if it's any good.
This gorgeous bikini is from H&M and it only cost me £8 for the set. (£3.99 for the top, and £3.99 for the bottoms) If this isn't the most gorgeous bikini that you have ever seen then I don't know what is!!! I reckon it will look great on fair or dark skin!
It has cute little tassels on the sides!
Pastel denim shorts are a must-have this Summer, especially when they are only £5 each from Primark!
I really do love my pastel colours!
If you have any questions then do not hesitate to comment or message me privately via email :)

Professional Brush Set - 22pcs

Hello my beauties!
Tmart is the new Ebay. You can find so many great deals on that website!! As most of you already know, I bought the Urban Decay Naked 2 and 3 palette dupes from Tmart for less than £10, and I also ordered one of the brush sets to see if they're as good as everyone claims them to be. And guess what? They really are.
The set that I chose came in this cute little pink pouch.
That's what the brushes looked like when I first opened the pouch. As you can see, there is a little flap over the brushes to prevent them from transferring colours onto the other, for example if the eye liner brush was in contact with the foundation then it will get dirty.
And here's a snap with the flap open revealing all the brushes. They were all backed very nicely in foil to avoid moulting of the brushes.
A close up of the right side of the set which includes all the face brushes.
A snap of the middle of the set which shows a couple of the face brushes, and most eye brushes.
And the last picture is of the left side of the set, revealing the lip brushes and other eye essentials like the fan brush etc.
If you have any questions relating to this brush set, then drop me a comment or an email :)
Lots of love,

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Good Afternoon Beauties!
So, recently I discovered the amazing Tmart online shopping website and couldn't believe my own eyes over the deals that they have! I've previously read about Tmart on other blogs and thought 'hmm maybe I should try it!'. I wasn't too sure at first whether I could trust the site as it includes ridiculously low prices and the delivery is free?! But I was persuaded by all the amazing reviews I've read online.
I bought quite a few things, but this item was the first to arrive as the rest was shipped from around the world. As you can see below, this looks like the authentic naked 2 palette by Urban Decay which costs around £37. This palette cost me £5.20!!! I was just as shocked as you guys!
This is the palette in the original box. It looks 100% authentic and nobody would know that this is a dupe. As you can see, the box is a little bit creased on the right hand side and has glue from the promotional code sticker on the front of it from where I tried to scrub it off!
Here is the palette taken out of the box. It has a dint in the top right corner but I'm not too bothered about it as it was so cheap, otherwise I would have sent it back and asked for a new one.
Here's a picture of the eyeshadows. Nearly all are the same shades as the real Naked 2 palette, besides a couple which are slightly different. They all have the same names as the real palette. The brush included in the palette is very soft and firm at the same time. Very good for contouring.
This is the back of the box which shows all the eyeshadow colours, ingredients and the use-by date.
Lots of love,

Review || MUA Matt Lipsticks in Fawn Fancy and Lilac Belle

Hiya my lovelies!
So, MUA's new collection has recently come out and I just had to go and buy the new matte lipstick! I bought Lilac Belle which is a pastel purple shade, and also Fawn Fancy which is a brown nude. I really love both of these colours!
MUA's packaging never fails to impress me. I own around 7 MUA lipsticks and the fact that they are only £1 each amazes me, but the packaging looks so professional it feel like a dream! You also get a mini lipgloss with each lipstick which in the actual bottom of the packaging. You just have to undo the coloured bit and voilla! An extra product in one!!
This lipstick looks more orange than brown in this picture, but I assure you that it comes out a lovely warm brown colour on the lips!
Sorry that the picture is quite blury, it was the best one out of the few I took! Here I swatched Fawn Fancy onto my hand. It looks quite shiny but believe me, it really isn't! It looks satin/matte on the lip.
I've not tried this lipstick on yet but I am very excited to match it up with a t-shirt or maybe some funky lilac socks? ;)
Here is a picture of Lilac Belle swatched on my hand. As you can see it's quite pigmented, but you do need to apply a few layers to get an intensive colour.
Thank you for reading guys! Hope to hear from you all again! :*
Lots of love,
Maya xo
