FASHION || FEMME LUXE HAUL - SUMMERTIME PASTELS, HOW TO STYLE PASTEL CLOTHES SS20

*This post contains gifted items by Femme Luxe Finery.

I love pastel clothes a lot for someone who doesn't actually own anything pastel-coloured in their wardrobe. So I thought I'd dedicate this post to styling my brand new pieces from Femme Luxe and show you what I picked up.

I feel like the only colour missing from this haul is a pastel yellow top, which is something I will certainly pick up in my next order. As pastels are really trendy right now I decided to stick to a theme. The items that are mentioned in this post were gifted to me, however, all opinions are honest and my own. Now, let's get to the haul!

Mini Dresses are definitely my favourite to wear all-year-around, and this gorgeous Lilac Button Up Collar Dress is my new favourite piece to wear this summer. I love to pair it up with my white converse for a dressed-down look or my bargain H&M heels for a dressed-up look. My initial thought of this dress was that it was going to be really see-through but it wasn't at all. It fits me really well, especially around my curves. I found the button fastening really easy and relatively quick to do. The colour is absolutely stunning! It is a gorgeous bright lilac shade with ribbed effect on the material which is also very good quality. This is definitely my favourite piece from this haul! I chose this in a size M/L which is a UK 10-12 and I have a bit of room in it. I hope that more sizes will become available in this dress as I believe that many are missing out by not having this in their wardrobe.

I don't own a pair of proper joggers and I think my last pair went missing around 5 years ago! I've heard many good things about the Femme Luxe Joggers so I had to pick up a pair in this order. I chose the white ones as I really love wearing all-white outfits or bright tops with white bottoms. Here I paired up these White Cuffed Joggers with a Light Pink Zip Up Front Ribbed Bodysuit which I am so obsessed with!
The joggers come up a lot bigger than I expected. I'm only 5ft3 and a size UK10, I picked size M which sits nicely on my waist but not around my ankles. These are a wide leg type of jogger and they're not tight on the cuffs around the ankles. I think you might be able to get away with rolling them up for a tighter effect but for me, these are going to be my lounge-in joggers.

The bodysuit, on the other hand, is bloody lovely. It fits really well and is very stretchy and comfy. I find that putting it on over my head is a lot easier than walking into it (trust me on this one, I found out the hard way 😂). I chose this bodysuit in size UK10 and it fits perfectly - I even have a bit of room for a full day of eating snacks 😉There are 6 sizes available from UK6 - UK16 which could potentially fit a UK18 - it's definitely worth a try.
My only issue with this bodysuit is that it is slightly see-through so it's best to wear a skin-coloured bra/bralette with it, or nipple covers if you're going braless. This bodysuit comes in a range of colours which I want to get my hands on ASAP, and you can find more Long-Sleeved Bodysuits here

If you have any questions regarding what I picked out for this order, or Femme Luxe's sizing guidelines then don't hesitate to message me on my Instagram or drop a comment down below ☺️
