REVIEW || MODELS OWN HYPER GEL POLISH IN MIDSUMMER MAUVE - BEST NUDE NAIL POLISH

Hey Lovelies!

I haven't done a nail polish review in quite some time now, so I thought I'd share with you my favourite varnish this year - the Model's Own Hyper Gel Polish in shade Midsummer Mauve.

I've been using this shade since December (which was when I bought it), however I have been wearing it more often now for work as we're not allowed to wear any bright shades or makeup - keep everything au naturel but my way.

I really like the bottle, I think it's very stylish and the lid is easy to hold while painting. Also, the cap has the colour of the polish shade on it so it makes it easier to pick out from my collection as I have quite a few nail polishes.

I usually apply two coats of this product, but sometimes you only need one depending on how much you apply the first time round. For those pictures, I applied 3 coats just to see whether it'll be any different to when I only wear 1 or 2 coats, and I was pleasantly surprised! They actually looked like real gel nails and lasted slightly longer than normal.

I would say that it starts chipping after 4 days which is amazing for a nail varnish for only £4.99 as many of my Essie polishes chip after two days.

I honestly recommend this product to those who love new shades on their nails and want a high quality effect. I mean, you can either go get your nails done for £20-odd or only spend £4.99 and have this little bottle last you for months!

Have you tried any of Model's Own Polishes before? If so, which ones do you recommend or stay away from?

Lots of love,

Review || Rimmel 60 Seconds nail varnish in 410 I Lilac You

Hi guys!
Today I'm going to review Rimmel's 60 seconds nail varnish in I Lilac You. I bought this nail polish today and wanted to use it as soon as I got home! I'm really obsessed with pastel colours at the moment, and needed a lilac nail varnish to add to my collection! I don't think I've tried any of Rimmel's 60 seconds nail polishes so thought, why not try this one out!

The packaging: It's a pretty basic and rounded glass bottle of 8ml. It has a Union Jack sticker on the handle. It is quite small and handy, unlike some large bottles, and it holds a lot of product.
The application: It is very easy to apply as the brush is quite thick and stiff. You need about two coats of the product to have perfect coverage around the nail, so not only it's easy to apply but you save a lot of product by not layering the nail like a cake. Because the nail varnish is one of the 60 seconds edition, it dries really quick. I was actually shocked by how fast my nails have dried!
Overall opinion: I really like this nail polish, and will definitely buy other colours from the 60 seconds range. I don't think there is much else to say about this product other than every girl has to own one, because it's great quality for the value!!
Lots of love,
Maya

Summer is coming!!!

Hi guys!
We can actually feel Summer arriving. It's getting warmer day by day, which means that we can show off a bit of our bodies now hehe! ;)
Personally, I prefer not to expose myself too much as my skin should only be on display for myself and my other half. Also, my daddy doesn't like me wearing skimpy clothes!!
I have recently gone out on a Starbucks date with my auntie and had a lovely catch up! I haven't seen her since November, so thought it would be nice to go out. The fact that she's the same age as me is even better :) We had so much to talk about!! I experienced the weirdest thing that day. Some random foreign exchange student started hitting on me! I have never been hit on in public before! I thought it was the strangest thing ever haha! It must have been Kate looking extra grown up that day ;)
I ordered a Mango and Passion Fruit Iced drink because I was out of breath and the weather was so warm! Kate ordered a camomile tea, which was also quite nice and refreshing.
I will definitely be taking Kieran out on a little Starbucks date as he's never had one before!! Shocker!!!!
I wanted to get my nails done at a salon for a long time now, but it's so expensive and I'm saving up so I had to hold back with splashing on getting French tip acrylics and opted for my own French mani! I used my Nailene set and that's the outcome:
