MAC Lipstick Giveaway

To make everyone's Easter holidays even better, I decided to host another MAC lipstick giveaway like I had done so a year ago. The giveaway includes one MAC lipstick of your choice worth £15.50. This is my amazing and constantly growing MAC lipstick collection.

This is minus my 5 lipglosses and one lipliner. Unfortunately I had lost my Spirit lippy and Whirl lipliner on a recent night out which I was really upset about as I had the lipstick for over a month and the liner for less than two weeks!!! :(

OOTD || Day-Night Look, From the Office to Cocktails with the Girls

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope that everybody's had/having a nice Easter and got lots of delicious chocolate eggs, I certainly have! I realised that I haven't blogged about fashion for a while so thought I'd share with you an outfit of the day.

I'm wearing a long-sleeved playsuit from H&M which is my current favourite outfit. It is so easy to accessorise and is suitable for any occasion. Unfortunately, they are all sold out on the website now but I have found a few similar to the one that I'm wearing. 

I thought this outfit would be perfect for a two-in-one look to wear to work (especially for those who work in the fashion industry) and then it can easily be accessorised for a night-time look, such as going out for drinks with your friends.

Yes, I am aware that you can see my dad's reflection in my sunglasses - I don't know how to edit him out! I would appreciate any tips you have in order to do that, below in the comment section!
I'm wearing a big cotton floppy hat from Primark, I believe it was around £6-8.

My sunglasses are by Oscar De La Renta and I got these from TKMaxx for around £16. I'm wearing MAC Brave on my lips, lined with MAC's Dervish lip liner.

My gorgeous bag is from Primark and it only cost me £6. I take it with me everywhere as it's so spacious! It might not look it, but I can fit a lot of things in there! Usually my whole purse and a few makeup items, as well as pocket tissues, house keys etc.

I really think that waist belts are much underrated nowadays. They can make a simple outfit go from a 6 to a 10 instantly. Not that this gorgeous playsuit needed a belt - I just love to accessorise!

I actually forgot to put my Micheal Kors watch on before having my pictures taken, but I thought that it'll go great with this outfit because of its navy and gold shades.

These pointy loafers from New Look only cost me £6 in the sale last year! I absolutely love them and wear them all the time. I think they add a nice touch to this outfit and are comfy to wear all day at work and don't look too casual for a night out.

My gorgeous name necklace was a gift from my boyfriend, and the other was a gift from one of my closest friends that I received for my 20th this year. I think it's from Accessorize.

Review || Nars Illuminator in Orgasm

Good Morning Everyone!

I've been wanting to try Nars cosmetics for a while now and I finally plucked up the courage to go and buy some! My initial thought was "wow there are so many things to choose from, and I want all of them!" But I calmed myself down and decided to buy one thing that day and went for their illuminator in the shade Orgasm. 

As you can see, the tube is quite big meaning you get a lot of product for your money. I have been obsessing over highlighters for quite some time now and have recently purchased two highlighting 

palettes from Sleek - you can read my review here.

You get 30ml for £23 which should last for a long time, depending on how much product you use and how often you reach for it. For example, I mix a bit of it with my foundation for a natural glow and also dab it onto my skin as a blusher and highlight in one due to the pinkish colour.

It is very hand and easy to use. All you need to use is your finger! It is very blendable and gives a lovely natural shimmery glow to any complexion. I would highly recommend to mix it with a mattifying foundation as not only do you get a great matte finish and full coverage but also a natural glow - seems like a dream!

I have squeezed out a generous amount of the product to show you the colour of it - it's very orangey-pink with shimmer, just like Nars' blush in the same shade. I would say that this is the amount that I would use to mix with my foundation and use the left over to put over my cheek bones. So like I've said, you get a lot of product for the price and it'll last for a while.

The texture is very smooth yet watery. It almost feels like unset jelly, which makes it easy to apply and blend.

This is how the product looks like applied on the skin - it  pigmented as I had used a bit too much product and it was very hard to try and rub it into my skin! But as you can see, it gives a beautiful glow with lots of shimmer.

2016 || February Favourites

Good Morning Everybody!

I hope your week hasn't been too bad and that you're enjoying the second week of March! It's Easter soon! I can't wait to receive lots of chocolate eggs! Hehehe ;)

Today I will share with you my February favourites - there isn't a lot of them and they're all from one shop, but they are oh so exciting!

So as you can see I have loved Stila's Lipgloss and One Step Illuminating Bronzer, as well as Oscar De La Renta's sunglasses - the cases I was given were the only ones they had left at TKMaxx, but I'm not complaining as they are genuine Valentino cases and they are super soft!

The sunnies were only a whooping £14.99 each!! What a bargain!! They were both reduced from £100+, whereas the make-up items were below £5 each. I think I've fallen in love with the shop!

I would definitely recommend any of Stila's makeup products as I've never been disappointed with any of the ones that I own - and trust me when I say that I do have a big collection!

Mini Book Haul

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Who doesn't love a good book, right? I've been a bookworm since I was 12 - so for good 8 years now! My all time favourite author throughout my childhood was Jacqueline Wilson and then Joanne K. Rowling. However, now I really love Danielle Steele, Jodi Picoult and Torey Hayden.

I've been wanting to get my hands on a few books recently, and with ASDA always doing some sort of offers I had to get them. I chose Grey by E L James and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn as I wanted to see Mr Grey's side of the story and Gone Girl took over my heart when the movie came out.

I really wanted to get my hands on two more books - The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawking and The Danish Girl by David Ebershoff, however unfortunatelly there wasn't any in stock - I will get my hands on them soon though!

Have you read any of the books mentioned above? If so, what did you think? Any recommendations?
