Food, Glorious Food

Hi Guys!
Who doesn't love food? I am such a massive food lover, I will spend ridiculous amount of money just to try new things. Recently I thought I'd make a Milky Way chocolate cake for everyone in my family to try, and it was delicious.
I used two chocolate cake mixes to make the cake and dark chocolate, Milky Way stars and crispy rolls for the decoration.
The stars started to melt which made the cake taste even better!
Me and my boyfriend also ordered some dominos pizza that day. It was delicious!
The next day my mum made the best home made burgers ever. I can't even describe the flavour, it was so magical.
Lots of love,

Review || Black Acres Soap Pantry Bath Bomb

Good Afternoon!
The weather is settling down, meaning that Autumn is just behind the corner, lurking with its nasty rain and thunder. I don't know about you guys, but I actually adore heat and just roasting in the sun, catching a nice tan but I also enjoy the cold days in and out, having a cuppa and catching up with college work or friends.
Cold weather also means another thing - long hot baths. I love using bath bombs and do not enjoy my baths as much without them. I recently bought this bath bomb set for £3.50 from a local home décor shop which smells of honey and flowers.
As you can see, the bath bombs are white with yellow flower petals in them, which actually annoyed me a bit because I don't like it when things float in my bath! I could barely see anything as there was so many!
Cute little label x
I was trying to take a nice close up picture of the ballistics but my camera kept going out of focus! :@
Here it is before I chucked it in the bath. It was very powdery in touch, as in it kept crumbling off. The smell of honey was so strong that it made me sneeze! Those bath bombs are much more intense in scent than the Lush ones I've previously reviewed here.
The petals were very long and hard to take out after my bath as there was so many!!
Bath with petals featuring my big toe and tattoo haha!
I hope you guys enjoyed this little review, there will be more to come soon!
Lots of love,
Maya xo

DIY || Chevron Friendship Bracelet

Hi there beauties!
In today's post I will teach you how to make your own friendship bracelets. It will be described and shown on pictures. What I really like, is that you can choose your own colours and patterns which are quite easy to do! Summer is already here and I just feel like it's a must for me to share with you guys how to make your own friendship bracelets! (Sorry about the pictures not being so great, my camera was very out of focus!)

So here are two pictures of one of the bracelets that I have made.

First of all, you need to measure out around 68inch of embroidery thread of at least three different colours. Then fold the pieces of string in the middle, just like it's shown in the picture above.

Make a small loop, but big enough to tie when you're done with your bracelet.

Separate the colours out so they are opposite each other. I have put the pink strings in the middle, the burgundy after and the black on top. The order will change every time you make a row of the pattern.

Take the string on the right side and create a reverse 'L' shape over the string on the left.

Then take the end of the 'L' shaped string and take it under the string and pull it through so it comes out on top.

Then tighten the string on the top of the loop like this:

Now it is nice and neat.

Now carry on with the rest of the strings on that side.

And then change the direction and do a normal 'L' shape an do the same.

This is what one of the sides should look like when done.

And here is a snap of what a whole row looks like.

Here you can see how the pattern is going to look so just carry on until you've reached the perfect length to go around your wrist/ankle.

And this is how the bracelets should look like when finished :) I hope this wasn't too complicated, you can always watch a YT video on how to make a Chevron bracelet!

Recent Purchases

Hello beauties!
Who's been enjoying this weather? Me, Me, ME!!!! It is absolutely boiling in Nottingham, and I caught a bit of the sun. There is nothing better than having tanned skin and enjoying a beautiful weather. What I got up to those past few days is shopping, working and hitting the gym! I am determined to get very fit over the Summer just in time for my first girly holiday in August!
Anyway, here are pics of a few things I recently bought.
My little sister is obsessed with loom bands at the moment so I decided to buy some myself!!
Primark sunnies are the best. The prices vary from £1-£3. The white aviators were £1 and the mirror effect aviators were £2. 2 pairs for £3!!! BARGAIN!
Birkenstocks are a bit expensive, so I opted for the cheaper way and got some look alike sandals for only £5 from Primark. I've been wearing them every day since the day I got them and that was over a week ago. They are extremely comfortable.
This gorgeous handbag cost me £35 from River Island. Pricey but totally worth it!
I found this camisole in Vero Moda and had to try it on ASAP. It looks great on and weirdly suits my new hair colour! It was only £10, an amazing bargain especially as they accept NUS card so I got 10% off the bill.
This lovely skater skirt was reduced to £12 from I think £25 or £30 which is also a total bargain. It's great for this Summer and will look fantastic with a tan.
I've wanted to buy a 90's string top for a while now. I had a look around a local Miss Selfridge store and couldn't find any that I liked off the website, and you know what it's like when it comes to online shopping - it doesn't always turn out so great and something might not suit you. So I went into Topshop and found this lovely white top for only £6!!! I tried it on and really loved it. I will definitely purchase this top in more colours!
I've never tried Topshop's make-up but it would be a sin if I didn't buy these items for 50 PENCE EACH. I found this eye crayon in gold, a lip marker (lip stain) in red, and two sets of nail varnishes in variety of colours. I shall do a review on those products very soon.
This gorgeous velvet headband was reduced to £1 from £6 which is a total bargain for Topshop. Personally, I don't think I would have paid £6 for a headband as it's just an accessory.
Lots of love,
