Review || MUA Matt Lipsticks in Fawn Fancy and Lilac Belle

Hiya my lovelies!
So, MUA's new collection has recently come out and I just had to go and buy the new matte lipstick! I bought Lilac Belle which is a pastel purple shade, and also Fawn Fancy which is a brown nude. I really love both of these colours!
MUA's packaging never fails to impress me. I own around 7 MUA lipsticks and the fact that they are only £1 each amazes me, but the packaging looks so professional it feel like a dream! You also get a mini lipgloss with each lipstick which in the actual bottom of the packaging. You just have to undo the coloured bit and voilla! An extra product in one!!
This lipstick looks more orange than brown in this picture, but I assure you that it comes out a lovely warm brown colour on the lips!
Sorry that the picture is quite blury, it was the best one out of the few I took! Here I swatched Fawn Fancy onto my hand. It looks quite shiny but believe me, it really isn't! It looks satin/matte on the lip.
I've not tried this lipstick on yet but I am very excited to match it up with a t-shirt or maybe some funky lilac socks? ;)
Here is a picture of Lilac Belle swatched on my hand. As you can see it's quite pigmented, but you do need to apply a few layers to get an intensive colour.
Thank you for reading guys! Hope to hear from you all again! :*

Review || Benefit Hello Flawless powder

Hey guys,
As most of you already know, I'm a big fan of Benefit cosmetics, ant it hurts me to say that I was very, very disappointed with this product. I bought Hello Flawless powder in the shade ivory "I love me" back in January and I was very excited to try this product.
The staff who helped me with my order was very lovely, they even offered for me to apply this products before the purchase to see if I like it. Overall experience with visiting the Benefit counter at Boots was amazing, as always. However, this post is about the product, not the shopping experience.
As you can all see, the packaging is really unique, and rather modern. It's cute and girly, and the metallic effect makes it look like a mirror. It isn't too big so you can just chuck it in your handbag and carry it around to reapply during the day. I would say that the packaging is a very solid 9/10. Who doesn't love Benefits packaging? All products deserve a round of applause for looking extra high end and girly.
I know I should have taken pictures before I started using this product, but I din't know I was going to use it up so fast! This is what the powder looks like on the inside. It has a compact mirror already built in, which makes it even better as you don't have to carry a spare mirror with you whenever you go out.
This is the second section in this product, which holds a sponge applicator and a face brush. This is truly the ultimate powder which every girl dreams of having! A 3 in 1 to be exact!
This is the back of the product, showing information about the shade and mass.
And last but not least, a photograph of the product swatched on my hand. I didn't rub it in properly so you could see the texture of the powder. It is velvet-smooth and very light in touch.
Now, here we get to the important part of the review. As you can see in the pictures above, I have used nearly all of the product up and there isn't much I can do with the rest of it as it's placed around the edges. The shocking part is that I only had this product for around a month or two. Usually a powder lasts me for at least 3 months, but I used this one up much faster than any other. The most disappointing thing about this product was that it wore out far too quickly and I had to reapply it at least 3 times a day to keep my face shine-free. I will definitely never buy this product again, unless Benefit improved it's use. The product itself does not deserve higher than 4/10 :(
I hope this post helps anyone who's unsure about buying this product! If you have any questions then don't be shy and drop a comment below :) See you soon lovelies!!
Lots of love,

Healthy Diet Plan

Hello everyone!
Oh dear, I really do need to get into a routine of posting more on my blog! I recently decided to go on a diet, as I have got slightly bit rounder since I started my new job at Dominos Pizza (I can't resist a free pizza). I drastically cut down on fast food, such as Mcdonalds, Dominos, Chinese take away etc. I also stopped snacking, not altogether of course! I stopped eating excessive amounts of chocolate, sweets and crisps and replaced those fatty foods with fresh fruit and low calorie snacks.
I decided to drink at least two smoothies a week, which are full of vitamins and minerals that will make my skin and hair much better. I thought I will take some pictures to add to this post of the last smoothie I made.
I used seedless grapes, two bananas, two kiwis (I added another one after I took this photo) and a Frugo juice. I regret not peeling the grapes as the skin did not blend in the mixer :(
I chopped the fruit and put it in the smoothie mixer. After they blended quite well I added the juice and some extra water for it to be smooth and runny instead of really thick.
And the results were amazing. This smoothie was very different to what I usually stick to, but it was a nice change and I will be definitely making this again :)
After my morning smoothie I thought I'd make a healthy lunch. I heated up canned tomato soup and added some spices to make it less sweet. I sliced a wholegrain bagel in half, and voilla! Lunch = sorted. :)

Review || L'oreal Professionnel Paris Age Supreme Integral Shampoo and Masque

Hey guys!
I recently bought a couple of products from L'oreal's new professionnel range. My hair tends to break very easily and it lacks the oomph that every girl desires. Today I decided to review the products and share with you my opinion amd whether the products are worth purchasing.

The age supreme collection is perfect for over bleached hair which needs more than a lot of TLC.
The texture of the shampoo is thick and soft, it is also clear so it is easy to tell that it doesn't contain a huge amount of parabens and artificial ingredients. The only disadvantage with using this product is that you need to use a lot of it each time you wash your hair as it's not very foamy. The shampoo made my hair feel quite dry after I rinsed the product off which I was quite disappointed by as most of the previous products I have used made my hair feel silky smooth. The fragrance of the shampoo is quite pleasant, but unfortunately it's not as fruity as other shampoos I have tried.
Let's move onto the hair masque now. It smells just like the shampoo, so the fragrance will linger on your hair for a while after the wash, unless you use other styling products e.g. heat protection spray which is also fragranced so your hair smells that tiny bit more fruity! The texture of the masque is very thick and silky, and gladly you don't need loads of the product to apply on your hair as it's very easy to apply and makes the hair very soft as soon as in contact.
After I used both of the products, my hair is left feeling very smooth and soft, almost as if I left the hairdressers. After styling my hair I could see the shine that never existed, or died a long time ago when I started dying my hair. My hair also felt much stronger and looked more lively and full of volume. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with maintaining beautiful hair, but don't forget that you won't see great results after the first use!

Lots of love,

Recent Purchases

Hello everyone!
OMG it's April!!! Time has flown by so fast. Next thing we know we'll be all sitting down in exam halls trying our best to remember the answers to the questions! I don't know about you guys, but I've been so stressed recently due to coursework deadlines and exam revision.
I have recently been out shopping again. I needed new shoes and some everyday essentials, such as underwear. I went round a few shops but picked out the most things from Primark.
I got a pug cushion to add to my collection. My little bed is covered in cushions and teddies Kieran bought for me. This cushion was only £4 and is very soft!
The two pairs of knee high socks were just something I picked up because of the sale! They were 50 pence each from what I can remember and are very thick and fluffy so I will either wear them as welly socks or to bed on cold nights!
I always pick up at least one pair of frilly socks! This time I chose pastel pink to match the new bra!
The Peter Pan socks are also a match to my Peter Pan t-shirt! I feel so coordinated picking out matching outfits!
The daisy shade were needed. Especially at the price of £2!! Bargaaaain!!
And like I mentioned in my previous 'recent purchases' post, I always buy DVD's when I'm out shopping! This time I picked up a copy of Troy and the Gladiator. I love a bit of history, I do!!!
Dun dun duuuun! And here is a picture of the star of the post! Beautiful, pink Nike blazers!!! I've wanted to get some for a long time now but never had enough money. I saw these and instantly fell in love! There is nothing better than pink trainers that go with anything!!!
Lots of love,
Maya xo
